Hello everyone , finally we have something good to talk about . We got around 5-6'' of snow out of that system earlier , and lost about 2-3'' with the rain that followed . All of our swamp sections are froze over and groomed . Early season conditions persist , watch for rough areas near the swamps north on SS2 and south of Hwy 8 on the SS1 . There is a lot of good trail out there , trails are pretty slick in some areas , icy corners will be showing up after a while . The NST is looking super flat and open for business , we've all been waiting to hit our favorite establishments but don't be in a hurry. Take in some of the beauty on your way , its been awhile for everyone . We have a re route at Nelligan Pond this year . If your heading North and west out of Armstrong and Fence trails , you will be making a right at the stop sign at Nelligan Pond ( Forest Rd. 2159) . Follow the signs from there , its only a short stretch of forest road and you're back in Gods Country . Be safe folks , it's great to be back in the Groomer !!
