what about in town
If people are getting bored i think you can ride around through town and get on the lakes and stuff. If you live in crandon go out on metonga and have some fun and got to the metonga resort at least you can get some itch out of the way.

The Bar on Lk Metonga is not open YET. WIll be opening soon under new management with the name of Mallards of Metonga. As far as ice conditions..... it depends on the Lake. They have been driving trucks on Metonga for a few days....BUT Lake Lucerne has a large OPEN SPOT!!!! Be careful!!!
Please be careful

First off, Jim ,& Brian, thank you for all your hard work to clear that fire wood off the trails!!!!
second....saw that tragic story on another site...wow... could this be a case of inexperienced snowmobiling parents that were too safety consious???
between bike helmets, booster seats, second hand smoke lectures etc., etc.,....I'm inclined to think the parents thought this was the best way to protect there child.
could be another paragraph will be added to the snowmobile safety course manual.
my prayers go out to there family.

With kids of my own, that really hits home. I can't and don't even want to imagine what that family is going through.
My hat's off to my friend Brian for helping out. He lives in Mosinee and drove up just to help me/us with our trails (more than once this year already!). And he doesn't even own a snowmobile! But I let him use one of mine when he comes up to ride.
