Ice Conditions...
Planning on heading up to the place in Laona this weekend to do some ice fishing with some friends, just wondering how much ice is on the lakes? I would assume a considerable amount with the cold temps we've had. Taken up the sleds too, but not planning on trail riding with what Jim's pictures look like. I hope there isnt alot of riders out if they dont get more snow, theres just not enough. But if someone knows what the ice is like and could let me know that would be great!

last weekend we had about 8" on roberts lake...so i would assume a foot by now with the cold temps for a whole week, we were out riding the sleds on the lake. they even had ice oval racing on roberts for little kids...plenty of ice!

ice fishing
Matt, let me know if you or your dad would like an ice fishing buddy. I'm game anytime. Your Dad's Bloody's and nailing perch would be a great combo.

Metonga
LAke metonga is really ruff and the snow isnt sticking so all you are doing is basically spinning in place right now but the fishing is going good the fisheree is this weekend and there is like 13 inches of ice they are driving trucks out there so metonga is plenty save lake lucern is always a weird lake you always have to watch out on that silver lake is great and so are the rests just watch that lake that are spring fed.
BRING ON THE SNOW !!!!!!!!!!
