Jim,
I think we came across you grooming Friday ,north of A.C.
It was in a tight area of trail , I was trying hard to get out of
the way of the drag, and forgot to take a picture!!!!!!
Thanks for trying to keep the trail base flat!!!:D :D

I've still got the Tucker sitting up at the Popple River Pub. I'm waiting for some snow, so I can bring it back. I did what I could with what I had out there, but in some places there wasn't anything to do anything with!

There isn't much there to do anything with. We were up this past weekend and didn't go out Sunday at all due to the conditions of the trails. Most of the turns are all ice. We met the groomer at Roberts Lake and thought wow great trails coming! Just wasn't enough snow to do anything with. We need snow!! This last weekend seemed to really chew up the snow/ice. Even the grade took a beating. From Friday to Saturday you could see a difference in conditions.

Formula Z, if your going out of Laona save yourself some frustration and go over to Argonne. The trail north of Laona heading towards Cavour once it goes into the woods is terrible. Most of it has little or no snow, and basically your just following the forest floor. If you like running on dirt and tons of moguls..... go nuts! From Argonne to the grade between Cavour and Newall was in a lot better shape last week.

Great pics chris.
We rode in the same area Sat thru Mon. land o to Gogibic Watersmeet to Lake of the clouds and Watersmeet to twin lakes.
Twin Lakes is sledder heaven right now.2 feet of snow on all the roof tops.
Snow depths vary wildly throughout the routes I listed.
All in all a good trip.

Laona to Watersmeet is an easy days ride. We did it a few years back before the grade was opened up as far as it is now.
Also did Laona to boulder Junc....easy ride....of course we had snow back then,..
