Is the Storm Coming?

Post by I Doo »

Ok people. Is the storm going to hit or not. Lets hear your thoughts. Channel 5 is now saying more snow is possible than they were saying the beginning of the week. Snow Storm Watch has been issued for the South West part of WI. I am Freaking out with the idea of a 12"+ storm coming. I hope we get it!!!!:p

Storm's acoming. Can you imagine trying to groom 12 inches of snow with 20 thousand snowmobiles out there.

That thought crossed my mind too. I hope people have enough sense to stay put until the trails have been conditioned and allowed to freeze up good before riding. I reckon it's too much to ask......

What is the condition of the trails now? How much snow do we need to have really good trails again. I assume we are basically starting from scratch.

Snow, rain and sleet before that on Saturday. So depending where you are you might get more snow if it changes over sooner.

If the whole state gets 6" plus that will take pressure off of the north woods.

if the snow comes mid weekend their may not be as much traffic as lets say a mid week storm.
Me, I,m gonna work Sat. and look at next weekend if this thing doesn't fizzle.

Have only been sledding in the great Forest Co. for about 8 years or so. It seems to me that some of the best sledding has happened in March!:sledder Told my buddy I stay by in Blackwell I"ll be coming up soon! This was two weeks ago. In my short years of coming to forest co. I cant remeber such a bad year for snow. Maybe because we got our share in Oct and Nov b4 deer hunting. :letitsnow:
