Forest Co. Weather Forecast.

Post by johnemaz »

Geeez! When Muskie John puts in a request he gets response
Warmer temps on the way to set the trail and new snow to make everything look pretty again.:letitsnow:
When you have been in the trail biz as long as Johnnie a respected opinion is warranted !!

Keep in mind that before you worry about the traffic on the trails ruining them think about what time of the year it is. The weekend before Christmas is traditionally a pretty dead weekend and to go along with that, Fridays although you get some traffic are not all that busy during the day until the afternoons. So as far as things getting beaten to death, it may not be all that bad, and then on top of that the fresh snow is suppose to be here on Saturday, plus you have good riding down south.

WIth gas at $3/ gal, more snow south then north, and Christmas in a couple of days, I don't think there will be very many snomos here Fri. Talked to a guy who put on 160 in MI Sat. and only saw 20 sleds!!! Not many come before the Holidays, ESPECIALLY, if there is snow at home.

I would say the same. With gas at $3.00 and good snow here in the south central and southern areas I don't see a lot of people coming up.

Good! Then I will have all the trails to myself in excellent condition! Anyone looking for a riding partner this Friday? Looks like I am going to be on my own that day.

Trails

Post by townsend chris »

I was up last weekend and with all the sleds I saw around Wabeno,
you couldnt tell the trails were not open yet!!
Trails were getting very thin around Townsend-Lakewood.
They are open there. We need alot more snow.
