Jim I can get you a 550 Gallon plastic tank that is used for a trailer mount pretty easily.... Wonder how much snow that would make? It would be cool to be able to make snow on the spot when you had bad areas! Perhaps 2 tanks on the drag? 3? I was able to get in 650 miles so far....... I don't trailer (well that because I don't own one, I need to get one) so I ride from my place which is right on one of the trails in Townsend.
Hehee... Don't tempt me. Although I wouldn't mind trying something like that, just for fun, when I get some free time. :)

Groomer Arms

Post by Tom »

One thing I notice is all the “extra” snow next to the groomed trail. I always wonder why the groomers don’t have hydraulic arms that could be extended out the sides and pull additional snow back onto the groomed area. They could be pulled in when trees become an obstacle. Jim, add this feature when you add you snowmaker to the groomer.

HMMMM..........1000 gallons of water @ 8 lbs. per gallon, plus the fuel on board the Tucker and the drag.................wonder what kind of mileage that would get?

Maybe the water needs to be on the Tucker and not on the sled. Think of the traction! lol

How about condensers that just pull it out of the air?

I've been know to use the "wings" on the front to pull in snow from the sides before. ;)
How about condensers that just pull it out of the air?
I'm not sure what's possible... I don't know a lot about this process. But I'm willing to learn. I do know a little something about pushing buttons! :bluedevil:
