Was wondering if Benson Lk. Rd. east of the turn off for
Armstrong Creek is still a legal road route .
When snow covered, it is a nice short cut to get from the 100 miler
to the trail to Goodman via the highlines.
Years back it had route signs on it , now I dont think it does.
Anyone know for sure?

Anyone know for sure?[/quote]Someone once told me that it was a state corridor, but I just checked an (old) Wisconsin Official Snowmobile Trail Map, and it's NOT a state corridor. So, if it's not a state corridor and it's a plowed road (which it is)... the answer is probably not. This year I haven't seen anybody on that. Years past I did. Do you know how long ago it was when you saw those route signs?

Benson Lake Road.
Rode Benson Lake rd. 2 weeks ago from Amberg to Cord. 7 about 25 miles. The road is marked as a trail.

I also looked at an old map, and some years ago it was shown
as a (corridor) trail, its not any more.
No big deal, but I am always looking for new ways to make a loop.
Its nice to change things up a little later in the season.
I rode it last weekend and,
there are no route signs on the western end of the road
From the ARM CK. turn off to the highline trail to Goodman.
Just want to be sure so I dont get pinched!!;)

Ride like the wind!
I'm not sure you'd get into too much trouble back there.
