just a little tidbit i received from the president of the" chute pond "club .
figured it was worth passing on .
Forwarded from a friend:
Yesterday evening I spoke with one of the Lieutenant's from Ashwaubenon
Public Safety, and he informed me that this summer, law enforcement will be
patrolling highway 41 very heavily.
He told me that all law enforcement will be receiving a state grant,
providing they follow certain guidelines, to patrol and control speeding on
41 this summer. The program will be running from approximately June to
September. He stated that they will only be allowed to hand out (1) warning
for every (4) citations. In addition, they will be enforcing the seat belt
law.
He told me that this summer (65) means (65), no exceptions. Brown County,
Green Bay, Ashwaubenon, Hobart/Lawrence, and DePere will all be out there.
I guess this is going to be from the northern end of 41 all the way down
south.
Just thought I would share for you lead foots out there.
Chris Laes, Lieutenant
Internal Security Dept.
