Post by eschmitz »

Did anyone see this incident from waupaca county over the weekend? http://tinyurl.com/deerchase

This is horrendous, what kind of sick sob's would do this? I hope karma catches up to them. It's sad because it's only takes a few aholes to give us a bad rap.

It is disgusting. Why do people do things like that? I couldn't believe it when I saw it on the news this morning.

i seen it, read it, and wanted to smack something!!:sick::mad::sick::mad: the one positive to this whole thing, even tho horrendous, is the "DNR" will love this one. one article i read said they will probably be charged with hunting deer out of season and herding. the "DNR" , known for wonderful fines, will help in satisfying the disgust no doubt all of us feel. just think no more snowmobiles, hunting, anything with wildlife---not to mention what the human society will do. all the fines, maybe jailtime---they more than deserve it!!!!!:mad:

And the trail was closed by the property owner! But she did say she would open it back up after they caught those responsible. I agree with Paul. They weren't snowmobilers, they were bung-holes with sleds.

it's unfortunate that there are jerks out there that would do such a thing  Viewing wildlife in THEIR territory is one of the great pleasures I enjoy so much about sledding:thumbup: I actually look forward to seeing deer, turkey, and whatever else I may come upon in my ride! I stop and let them go on their way even turn off my sled to observe them until they are safely out of my way. This incident has already hurt our sport and will probably influence more legislationthat we dont deserve:( The people who did this will probably get caught; if they were stupid enough to do it, they will probably brag about it sooner or later:twisted:

The rewardis up to $10,000 from dnr and local groups... it is just a matter of time. But like everyone has pointed out this is senseless act of cruelty that has left a black eye on all snowmobilers and in the end we will all pay for it...
