Network Configuration Problems

Post by Jim »

I had some problems with the network configuration this morning/afternoon,
which caused some problems with website accessibility.

I brought the system down around 4am to minimize the impact on the enduser,
but still ended up with some problems, after I brought the network back up.

But after only a few hours of extreme cussing, ranting and raving, and a short nap-- I was finally able to fix the problem!

Happy Birthday

Sorry you missed the Christmas party last Wed. You missed some bad singing of carols and a little dancing, but how did you birthday go Dec 17th? Any celebrating? Well, stop celebrating and get Dickie and Parker out on the trails!!

Thanks! FYI. I couldn't make the party, because the school had their Christmas Concert the same night, and all three of my kids were in it! I just wanted to let you to know it wasn't because it was my birthday! LOL Although I did manage to go out after the concert, and hoist a few!

Dick called earlier, but I was 'busy' trouble shooting that damn network problem and I didn't get a chance to talk to him. But I figured he'd be calling today. I'll send you a PM with my current phone numbers. I finally canceled three of my old land lines. So, I have just the 1 land line (in the house) and 1 mobile number (not counting the groomer's bag phone).
