Rain

Post by 410shooter »

Someone on here was thinking about doing the rain dance. Its a ways off but John Dee is saying that there is the possibility of Moderate to Heavy rain for December 31. Probably to far off to have much faith in the forecast but not sure I would like to see heavy rain, I know a little does make for a great base but sure don't want to start over with the crayons.

I just got back from a little jog of 70 miles on the 100 Miler with Paul, and there was a light mist freezing on our shields.

I'd rate the trails we rode from GOOD to VERY GOOD conditions with a firm base. There was an ice patch on the trail in the swamp north of Armstrong Creek. There were some some deep truck tire ruts on the trail that heads toward the old Christmas Tree Inn. A very nice ride, too bad we didn't see any other sleds!

I think I'm gonna have to build a snowman to sacrifice to the snow gods to try and hold off the rain:bluedevil::snowman::bluedevil:

I just got back from a 60 mile run. I only saw three snowmobiles the whole time. Just in case the trails don't hold up from the rain I am going to ride while i can!
