Is all of the brushing done now? Are you going to be going out again? I wasnt able to make it up there to help because I was at school all weekend. I am coming home this weekend and wouldnt mind coming up to give you a hand if you are you are going to be out.
My thoughts exactly!!

I would like to echo Red Baron's comments. I too would like to thank the Wild Rose and the 100 Miler for their appreciation of those of us who came out to brush trails that day. Spending a few hours brushing is the least we as sledders can do to enjoy the best trails in the Northwoods! Bring on the snow!!!!

[/quote]I can't speak for Wabeno or Laona, but here in Armstrong Creek, there is more that needs to be done. But with all this rain, can it be done, that's the question. I did ride south of town yesterday and noticed that our gates are open now!

I haven't checked the gates to the north, but I think they would be opened now too. That will make things a lot easier. I know I was told there are a couple of trees that are down to the north yet, and some other small areas that we weren't able to inspect last time due to water. There is also some trail signing that needs to be done, both to the north and to the south. It would be nice to be able to wait until everything firms back up before we get back out, so that we can do it all at once. But who knows how long that will take. We could probably go out Saturday morning and do some trail signing to the south. If you are handy with a chainsaw and have one, we could head north to sign and check out the down trees behind Lake Laura and Lake Gordon.
