Good to here!!!
I seldom find things I lost on the trail:mad:The other night I lost the fuel cap for the groomer, couldn't find it and I only moved 100ft.
I need some glasses.
Cannot wait to get up to ride this weekend, I have 150hrs. grooming and only 100miles on the sled:eek:
Yeah, maybe some glasses with x-ray vision. I seen them once in the back of a comic book!
One of our guys did the same thing last year. Misplaced the fuel cap, and we had to use a PVC cap, until the other cap was located by the pump!
I almost lost one last year too. After refueling, I forgot to put the cap on. It wasn't until I got down the trail, by Feldman's Beer Can Flats (again?), that I remembered. Fortunately, the cap was still laying on the back of the groomer! :slywink:
Dick, on the other hand, is always finding stuff. I don't know how he does it. By the time I see something, I've already run it over! But that guy's been doing it so long, he could probably do it in his sleep!
Lost Items Saturday Night

Re: Lost Items Saturday Night
Dick called after grooming, and I asked if he found any gloves.
He said "yes." He found three.
He said one had short mole-like hair on the inside,
and when he put it on his hand, he had an orgasm.
He wanted to leave it on his hand for the rest of the day!
I said, that sounds like mine!
I just got back from the Groomer, and confirmed he found my glove and glasses!!
How cool was that? That guy is unbelievable! :coolcat:

Re: Lost Items Saturday Night
I believe that Dick deserves 3, no 4 "ATTA BOYS" for finding "Clutsy"'s lost personal effects.
Those gotta be some gloves! No wonder they call him Tailmaster! (orgasm?)
We definitely need a RESALE page on this site for all the items found on the trail. Jim alone could keep us in the black in operating expenses.
Gotta run for now. I'm making the sign for the big Sale!

Re: Lost Items Saturday Night
It sounds like those groomers need to have their fuel caps chained on:lol:
It sounds like those groomers need to have their fuel caps chained on:lol:
Something... that's for sure. But hey, I never did lose a fuel cap, just some of my 'personal effects'. But then I didn't really lose them either. Dick found those. Maybe we should have some kind of contest.... "Find Clutsy's Stuff"?
The "Good New" is that I heard it was snowing outside. That would be great. Especially right before the weekend.
Conditions are Very Good to Good. But we can use some more snow!!

Re: Lost Items Saturday Night
Found a Brewers hat on the corner where you can continue straight to Windfall Lk or split off and head towards Townsend. Fitted. Describe it and I'll mail it to you. Otherwise, it's getting washed and added to my collection. Fits me just right.
A few years ago I was up doing some off-trail riding in the Keweenaw. My buddy Gary was out in front of me as we were coming down from the high country and booking it back towards Calumet on the trails. Somehow on the bumpy trails, his tunnel bag on his Cat opened up. I scored from his trail of kitty litter a nice GPS, digital camcorder, tools, a Cat hat, and a pair of sweet Oakleys that day. Finders keepers!
j/k He was pretty stoked I found everything he'd dropped.
