Post by Kevin »

Up again this weekend had a great ride w/ my brother and 14 year old son. 100 miler trails and townsend trails were just perfect:D:thumbup: The LMT trails were a little (LMT trail 2-4-8) Someone needs to get them dig into the base a little to get bumps out! Sounds like more snow is comin on tues.:letitsnow::winterrules:

I agree. we put on 530 miles this weekend all the way from Pembine to Boulder Jnct. and back 100 miler trails today were the best we hit since last Thursday when we left the 100 miler. Along the MI border they are really bad. All sugar.

sat. left from Cavor ( the backwoods bar) after a very tasty grilled chix samwich at 1 pm looped to Iron river, crystal falls, and back to Laona by 5:10. the grade was a bit choppy , but there seemed to be a lot of traffic. first time doing that ride it was fun. went back out sunday morning, the groomer GODS worked some serious magic overnight... flat, soomth, and fast with the big plus of everyone going home to watch some dumb ball game..,empty trails. looking forward to being back in 2 more weeks! thanks for taking such good care of the trails!

Considering the traffic and lack of recent snow I thought the trails rocked this weekend! Thank you groomers!

Again, those who went home early Sunday without riding, missed some great trails. The groomers were out Sunday night.

yeah, the trails are icy and terrible on Sundays, everyone should go home to be safe. Don't risk it.

LOL,....we backpacked to L D Flamer on friday AM, and returned on Tues. 2 PM to find another 2" ontop of the 3" from Friday,....all I can say is when we crossed back into FoCo on trail 8 I almost stopped and kissed the trails.....LOL

Most of Vilas co. needs new snow!!!!....The one day we hit northern Iron Co. was the gem of the weekend, that corner of the state has been getting hit with fresh snow on a regular basis.
