snow advisory.

Post by snoway »

the latest snow advisory looks to include much of the state with 3 to 5" as far south as here in SE WI, to as far north as Forest & Forence Co. etc.

The latest I just saw on the news was 5-8" in the GB/Fox Valley area and some points south. Now- go figure. Here I sit with machines needing to be tested and proofridden before being ridden significantly- and I just hauled one of them up to Wabeno last week!!! UGH!

Well, at least I can try the other 2 out. I think my rebuilt 800 should be good to go for some light duty break-in, after I reverse the belt direction. I wasn't paying attention in my haste to get it reassembled and test fired- this is the one that we had numerous posts going on with about a month ago. Oh well- I don't think 2 miles of no-load trackspin (offground) will ruin the belt for life.

Let's hear it for winter! WOOHOO!
if forest county got 6 inches of snow...do you think that the trails would open?
I think if we get 6" there would be a good possibility (given the current state of affairs) and if we get 8" there would be no doubt. Let's hope we get a pleasant surprise and really get dumped on!
