Trail Conditions Reports

Post by Jim »

Dick said he heard on the radio that Forest County trail conditions were rated poor. I'm not sure where anyone gets their information from. But if you want to know what our trail condtions are like, there is only ONE place to go, and that's right HERE. (But you already knew that?)

The trail conditions reports are updated by our groomer drivers themselves! :coolcat: <== Dick Leah

I rode the trails south of Armstrong Creek this morning and I rated the trails as "GOOD" with only a couple fair/poor spots. :)

100 miles Sat.

Post by snoway »

Came up and did the poker run on sat.
Trails were ridable, and were choppy but snow covered in the woods, basicly riding the natural terrain.
FR and RR grades were good overall, with a few spots (5%),where we had to hit the edges to cool the hyfax.
Saw the wabeno groomer and 100 miler tractor both out on Sat. doing what they could.
With the light traffic, the trails were as good as some weekends when we have 2' of snow.
about 100 miles Sat. and headed home early Sun with a -25 showing on the porch thermomoter.

just got home from the cabin. we did 200 miles on sat. went up from roberts lake north to past eagle river and then turned around. it was real cold so the trails held up awesome! We thought the trails were the best in forest county and in three lakes. eagle rivers were all ice! overall the weekend was awesome! for what there is, the trails are GOOD!

We were at the casino Hotel with our snowmobile club since Thursday. We also went home early on Sunday because of the cold. We were VERY impress with the conditions we found the trails in. Awesome job groomers making the trails enjoyable. We were going to go north and west but glad we didn't. I would rate the trails as GOOD!! There were a few spots that were not good but for the most part very nice. A few trails had ice in the corners so please SLOW DOWN for corners. We had just left Johnny's when we came upon a sled two girls were driving that missed a turn or were going too fast to make and slid into a tree. The girls were fine and a small bend in the A arm was all we could see for damage. All in all very lucky!!!!!!!!!!! Be careful and enjoy!:D

Hey Brian!! The little honey didn't get frostbite did she :brrrr: ??? She could turn into a popcicle real quick..... I hope you left her by the pool.
Dennis is home from the hospital and has therapy on Mon. Weds. and Fri.
He was hobbling around this morning.
I groomed your trail on Thurs. :ineedsnow: They are still closed.
We have to do some logging on Jeffs trail.
I got through with the groomer after pushing a few little trees over:mad: .
I'll talk to you at the meeting.

She had 12 warmers on her Saturday. I thought she might spontaneous com bust. We will be in Laona Thursday night for another extended weekend of sledding. So we will not be able to make it. I thought the trail looked like it was groomed or at least panned. It looks like more room for snow to fill in. Hopefully we have some more snow.
