Calling fo 9 to 12" now.
What are you seeing for totals up there??
Woke up around midnight to see pouring rain down here.
That has changed back to snow now, but looks to be ending soon.

More snow

Post by Arby »

I don't know about the northwoods, but in West Bend I think we have at least 16 inches since friday to 6 am sun. Went for a short ride to Kewauskum at 5pm yesterday and it was about a foot of snow just off trail where i stopped to take in the scenery. It seems like rain right now:mad: I bet all trails in this area will be open today:)

Hope this next wave gets to the northwoods before it fizzles out.

Drove back from the northwoods last night with snowmobile in tow. Everyone kept saying to get back before the big one came:rolleyes: .I should have stopped in the fox cities and wait to see where all of the snow ended, Looks like I will have to travel north to West Bend, but wait it just started to change over to snow. Hope more of the white stuff lands up north for next weekend

Went out to try and groom this morning and did more harm than good  .
The snow was so wet I had the nose of the drag 3 ft. in the air and the snow just piled up in the pan and pushed the snow off the trail  .
I talked to other clubs groomer operators via cell phone and they were having the same problem  .
We are going to have to let the sleds pack the trails. :sledder: :winterrules:
