Your hard work
Your hard work
Well although the season is still rockin', mine is done til next season, so I just want to thank everyone in front of as well as behind the scenes that have made every trip to Forest Co. and the northwoods in general an enjoyable one.
From the groomers and club members to the people that man the pit stops, who, even though we come up in masss when the snow falls, are always are pleasant no matter how many bubbleheads need there attention at one time!
Concerning behind the scenes, I particularly loved the new in and out through A-Creek as well as the ride through Fence, which in the past we would have avoided due to road riding...BIG THANKS TO ALL THAT HAVE IMPROVED OUR RIDE IN THESE AREAS!!!!

Last weekend ride
Trails we rode this past weekend were great!! It was a great way to end the season for me. The Saturday night effort of:tucker::fendt: by most area clubs this year has been outstanding. Really enjoy the Sunday rides before heading back home.

Awesome!
Thanks groomers for an excellent year of riding. I have put on more miles this year on fresh groomed trail than ever before! We came up for our third "last weekend" of the season this last weekend and put on 170 miles. Thanks again to everyone for the hard work to make this an awesome snowmobiling season! Already cant wait for next year!!!

Snoway, thanks for letting us know of the trail improvements for A-Creek and Fence. Tried both areas out last weekend and was not disappointed in the new routes.
I keep saying this was my last weekend as may better half reminds me. If this was really my last ride it will be one that I will remember for a long time. Trails were great everywhere and I did try to ride everywhere. Left Lakewood and headed down to Kelly Lake area before going to Boulder Lake and then we had to try the new A-Creek and Fence trails before we headed to Tipler and back to Townsend by way of Crandon. All of the riding was very good with a great trail base. None of the routes were direct between each location, as I have been know for, but I use the most indirect routes to cover as many of my favorite trails in one day. I can not disclose the mileage for the day of riding because I am on double secret mileage probation, but can say I rode for 12 hours and 4 gas station stops
Thank you to all of the clubs and members that have made this year of riding very special  Hope we can repeat the same conditions next year
ps: I still have a 1/2 gallon of oil to burn yet just in case there is one more last ride

Also want to add my thank you to all involved in this great season!
Kudos:
To all the Groomer drivers for your efforts, job well done Gentlemen!
To all who volunteered time to help brush and sign the trails!
To all Pit stops for the hospitality, refreshments, food and B.S. you put up with!
To club officers for your time and efforts that make the "100 Miler" a bench mark among clubs!
To fellow riders that stay to the right side of the trail, you others not so much!
To my riding buds (you know who you are) that make each day of riding something special!
Finally to Mother Nature for enough white gold to allow a record season, 4,017 miles is not bad for an old guy!
