Todays Damages?

Post by Jackfrost »

What were todays damages to the trails with the sunny skies and warm temps? I am still planning on coming up tomorrow afternoon. Heading to the Roberts Lake area.
Our groomers went out at 2:00 a.m. This morning and will groom till about 10:00 or 12:00 depending on temps. We will be back out early Friday morning. Friday night and Saturday are a big question mark, low temp is forecast to be 29, that won't be cold enough to groom. We'll have to see how it goes and how much melting there is, this could be the end.
Last Saturday the warm temps and heavy traffic turned the trails into very choppy wet snow by early afternoon, expect that to happen again.
with rain in the forecast for sat. I'd get out tomorrow. There will be some bare spots here and there and road routes won't be ideal, but sacrificing some carbides to get to the good stuff for a Good Friday ride till be well worth it:thumbup:
