Another Up-date From The "Creek"

Post by DickP »

I figured it was about time that I post something. The problem is that there isn't a whole lot going on.

I thought that I would have some news about the new equipment to report, but I haven't received any word from Muskie on either piece. I quess that the married life has placed new responsibilities on Johnnie.

I case you haven't read all of the posts in the various other areas, Johnnie was married this summer. Congrats to the newly-weds.

Haven't heard from Roger or Tenn. I quess that means that they are out-fitting the new groomer. That's the new one with the state of Texas as the back seat! I do know that the hot-tub had arrived on time for installation in the machine. Now, the only thing that Rog and Tenn have left to do is stock the Wet-bar.

In case your wondering, yes it has been hot here too. And EXTREMELY dry.The fishermen are all complaining about having to take there own water along. And that's not to mention the trout with the mosquito bites!

As I said at the beginning, there really isn't much new. I'll make another post as soon as I have something of substance to report. In the meantime, pray for rain.

Gotta run for now.....they've all started the rain-dance already. Until later...

The new tractor is in Antigo get fitted with tires and light bars and a radio. Mean while Ernie is doing some mowing with the old tracor for Laona. The new Tucker should be here sometime in Sept. We will be doing some dozing west of Neligan's Pond. Also doing some rock removal and trail widing close to Little Long Lake on FOrest Service Land.
