Armstrong Creek Update 01/07/22

The Armstrong Creek sections to the North , SS2 & NST1 were groomed late last night and into the early morning . Both of these trails are rated in VERY GOOD condition . The cold temps are on our side and the trails are holding together very well . Logging continues in the Connor Forest area north and west of Nelligan Pond so watch for traffic where the road is shared by the logging crews . Keep your speed down and give them plenty of room . Stay right on the road between Nelligan Pond and Newald road , this is another heavily traveled road by log trucks . I will be headed south to intersection 30 around 3:00 pm and all the way back up to Junction 5 just short of Long Lake . Expect to see a groomer around each corner . 11.5 hrs total last night .
