1st sled
1990 Safari LX 440 fan. Ran this from around 7yrs old tell about 14 before it was retired to a beater. Ended up adding flex ski's, studs, and a few other odd things.
past sleds?? what did you ride before updating

1992 Ski-doo Formula plus 583 non RAVE. Was ran from around 14 tell about 17 before it started to fall apart. Ended up hitting a stump and running it a few times into late april when the trails where nasty causing it to fall apart. Parted it out and the motor was put in an ultra light aircraft out in Iowa.

1996 Polaris XLT SP 600 triple. I picked this up with a blown PTO side piston, not bad for a sled with 6000 miles on it. Ended up rebuilding it to fast to get some riding in during my college break. Blew the motor 100 miles into a trip, puttin holes in the crank case and trashing the top end. After another rebuild a DG canister and 300 break in miles I parted with it.

dad bought us a 1970 evinrude bobcat for christmas 1969, I was 13.
me and the neighbor kids used her up pretty fast in the fields around the house.
my brother and I went in on buying a 1973 tx 340 and drove around the state having fun trying to race that winter....the ski doo FA were the hot ticket that year in 340 class.
started a family a few years later and serious sledding was put on hold til 1996 when I got back into it with a piped 650 polaris, also picked up an AC 2 up 550 prowler and the wife became a dedicated sledder as well.
traded off the 650 for an ultra sp....big mistake:( ...kinda got me off polaris...
we now have 1 polaris left , a xcf 440,(daughter) along with a '98 v max dlx,(wifes old sled...maybe...) an 02 viper,(mine) a 05 rage (possibly wifes new sled) and a ac zrt 600 (sons).
is it snowing yet???????????:lol:
