New snow

Post by R/L GROOMER »

Did you get some snow sunday from the storm?
We picked up around 10" down in Adell, sounds like another 3-5" on wed.-thurs. I took the ranger atv. out to finish marking the last of some trail, but I almost got it stuck! It does not go threw the drifts as well as a snowmoblie:eek:

Snow Amount

Post by DickP »

Unofficially in Armstrong Creek, we picked-up only about an inch.
Right now, we have light snow with 20 - 30 mph winds gusts. :D

Very poor Deer Hunting season as far as the deer kill. Of course, you cant shoot something that isn't there!

To many years of large numbers of Anterless Permits; poor herd mangement by the DNR; and WAY too many Coyotes, Bear, and Wolves.

Of course, don't tell the tree-huggers and animal-rights people. They already know EVEYTHING!

I hunted roberts lake road area and did not see a deer, but alot of coyote tracks. I havent seen a deer in the last two gun season in the area and only a 3 or 4 during the bow season........Frustrating!
