I think Roger means a TOTAL of 7 inches on the ground, not 7 inches from the last storm. Here at Wabikon Lk we received about 3inches last night and this morning. Giving us maybe 7 on the ground in total for the year.. But absolutely no base. The ground is powder dry under the snow.
I just plowed my drive here in Townsend and between the snow on Sunday night and Monday - Tuesday maybe 4" giving us about 7" - 8" on the ground. But it is dry dry dry! Need some wet snow and warmer temps to get things to set up nice.
Just watching channel 12 news out of rienlander. They are saying
possable snow storm for northern wi. for sat.andsun. Winter storm
watches out for counties west of us already.
Looks like we could be on the rain side of the storm however. Maybe a mix of snow then rain then back to snow, all according to John Dee's web site. That wouldn't be all bad setting up a base which is what we need.
