Armstrong Creek & other "road" conditions
Glad to hear the trails are holding up. How are the conditions on the trails that run on roads?...especially the one that is always short on snow going into Armstrong Creek.:sledder:

Yes. All of the roads were snow covered as of Saturday.
The club also sent a letter to the town of Armstrong Creek, asking for
their help in keeping the snowmobile roads (routes) in better conditions.

In defense of Armstrong Creek:
The town had hired a new employee just prior to the "snow" season.
This person was experienced in snow-plowing, but unfamiliar with the Towns set standards as far as the snowmobile route was concerned.
By the time it was discovered that the new guy was doing a great job of plowing in general, the "damages" to the trail had been publicly criticized before the problems could be corrected by the town board.
As Jim has pointed out, this issue has been resolved. :letitsnow:

I'm sure it's just a communication problem. I felt bad, that we even sent them a letter. If I knew them a little better, I probably would of approached them myself. I could of also used it as an opportunity to meet them, by approaching them, before we sent them a letter.
And what's up with Kus Road?? I was on Kus Road today, and it looks like the town is plowing that as/for a snowmobile route with a banked shoulder for snowmobiles to ride on. I know it's an ATV route, and that it used to be, and maybe still is a snowmobile route. But it's not a trail. And I'd like to see THAT on the snowmobile trail routes that we do use!
